With Bordo, ABUS – as the inventor of the U-shackle lock – has once again launched an innovation for bicycle locks: the folding locks. They show features that have never been united in one line so far: flexibility with low weight and compact shape. After a successful introduction of Bordo 6000/75, further products complete the portfolio.

With the premium product Bordo 6500 Granit X-Plus the highlight of the series arrives now into the bike shops. When it comes to the security, this lock sets a new standard: with its 5,5 mm thick links, the X-Plus cylinder with hardened special steel lock body, as well as the special rivet connection between the links, the Bordo 6500 Granit X-Plus provides a very high protection against intelligent and brutal opening methods. For ABUS this means security level 15! With this lock you can now also secure high quality bikes in the city on unguarded places or during bike events – even over the night!

For “chronic key losers” the Bordo Combo 6100 with individually resettable codes is the right choice. One can quickly enter acquainted number combinations, like dates of birth or account numbers, which allow various application possibilities. The Bordo Combo is the ideal choice if several persons use one lock or if several locks with the same combination are required.

An additional lock version increases the degree of comfort and functionality. With the 6000/90 and the 6100/90 – 90 cm long, compared to the classic version that has a length of 75 cm – several bicycles can be locked to a fixed object. Despite of the longer “reach”, the compact shape has been preserved.
